How do I bet on a Total or Over/Under?
A Total, or Over/Under, bet is a wager on the total score combined (added together) from both teams in a sporting event.
Alongside Moneyline and Spread, Total is the third of the traditional bet types.
Totals vary by sport. For example, combat sports (Boxing, MMA) feature Over/Under Total Rounds while baseball features an Over/Under number of runs scored. For Hockey and Soccer; goals and Football; points.
Total betting is available within every game. Simply look for the "Totals" heading within your chosen game to see the available Over/Under options.
→ Two options are available, bet “over” the total, or “under” the total.
Example: [Hockey] Bruins @ Knights and the total is set at 5.5 goals. If both teams combine for 6 or more goals, then all bets placed on Over would be graded as a winner. 5, or fewer, goals scored would result in Under being the winning selection.
